Switched!

To all those concerned:

Lenny and i are looking for someone with a decent-power digital camera, for taking close-up pictures. Mine is a rather modest 5 megapixel, and doesn't cut it. To be perfectly honest, we're not actually looking for you so much as your camera. We wanna use it. Inquire within.

P.S. i'm on the new blogger now, too. We should switch this thing over, already.
were all gamers here and being that we are i could like to hear the answer to these two question

1. what makes a good video game

2. what would be your choose new gen system

im carious to hear what you guys have too say and little later il post some of my observations

ok

peace off

Yu-Gi-Oh the abridged series
I found this on youtube and just had to share it.

Thursday, December 21, 2006

Good news.

I just saved a bunch of money by (not) switching to Geico.

Ahem. I moved my account over to the new blogger so I cannot comment on old version blogs anymore - not that my comments were worth much. XD

Oh, and I'm off tomorrow, so I will be able to game at Lenny's for Exalted.

w00t.

Tuesday, December 19, 2006

Interesting fact: I switched to the new Google-based Blogger system, and now I can't leave comments. I would be able to if the Knoll Blog were to switch to the new system, but that might be a hassle for everyone else. I think it might involve everyone getting a Google ID, but I'm not certain.

Ah, well. For now, I've got this post.

First and foremost, thanks for adding the Pipeline link. Much appreciated.

Second, I'll still be working Friday at 2, and have a big combined birthday party for a couple friends at 5; thus, I will be unavailable for Exalted at the appointed time.

And finally, I'm posting this from my house. Woo-haw. Comcast.

So the season finale of metalocalypse is on the fix. If you haven't seen it do it now. Its incredible, I watched it 5 times to see if it actually happened.
Was wondering if we might do a game of ZA tomorrow. I've got class from like 545-745 i think. Final in improv is a public performance. It's at the portable village south of davies hall, where the improvathon was last year. Oh and it's free.

Otherwise, I'll probably meet up with improv people and go out. Oh and the 360 is great - thanks to bri and lenny for the early xmas present - ie wireless controller. my typing sucks as im lazy and this isnt my comp. Anywho... the mac, it'll get fixed. Prolly not before the end of the year, but we'll see.

We might need to get this

Friday, December 15, 2006

For those of you who play in my exalted game. I've taken the liberty of going through rpgsheets.com to find the best sheets. The WW sheet is functional enough but requires a lot of book referencing and has no space for armor. If you want to put your character on a different sheet I highly recommend these.

Voidstates 2nd edition solar sheet

voidstate made my first edition sheet of choice
Pros: Very thourough, has slots for multiple craft abilities, space for armor stats, stats for natural martial arts attacks written in there. more charm space, fill in bubbles for exellencies, commonly used rules such as healing time are printed on the sheet.

Cons: With all that stuff its a little hard to find information that you need, The writing can be small, and the sheet uses british spelling (armour, valour).

If you want a less cluttered sheet that still has some features try this one by Azimidiske

After a recent financial windfall, I've bought an Xbox 360.

Got Gears of War and Splinter Cell: Double Agent.

I could use an extra wireless controller though! =P
Update: The car has been recovered, and is currently in the shop, getting a new ignition switch. Hallelujah.

Also, my lease is up at the end of January. I'm pretty sure I'll be renewing, unless they double the rent or somesuch, but who knows?

So, for the next two weeks at least, my new day off is going to be Monday. Unless they decide they don't need me for rehearsal, that's going to be the only day i'm available. This means that any ZA game is going to have to go down on Monday. Now i'm inclined to request your collective comments a propos said apples, and how you like them.

My computer is dead.

That is, until it gets a new hard drive and some love at the Apple Store. Until then, I'll be even harder to get a hold of - that is, if you don't dial my phone number. =P

Anyways, hope we get together to game or something soon.

I got the Batizado DVD's! Yay! So if anyone wants to see them let me know. It's awesome and great and so much Capoeira fun! Yay! Also if anyone would like to buy a copy it's 4 DVD's with the Bahia show included as well. It's only $15 if you want a copy but I need to money up front and soon. It costs more to do fewer DVD's so they're ordered in bulk. If there aren't enough ordered it'll cost more or take longer. So yeah! If anyone wants one or wants to see it let me know. No I will not loan them out, but if you want to come over and watch drop me a line.

This is for you Liam, Merry Christmas.
So I tried out D&D online in it's official 10 day trial thingy. Don't ever play it anyone, it is the suck. It's like EQ but with fewer options and a very annoying narrator (he's the GM). Plus, it's Ebberon based, so you have to deal with that annoying world. That's all.

Hollywood is really lazy. They have this soundbyte called the wilhelm scream that they use in a bunch of movies and they've been doing it for over 50 years.

Addendum: More movie fun
So I grab my lunch and my laptop this morning and head out the door. I'm a little late already because I'd dozed off for a half-hour after my alarm went off. I round the corner toward my parking space, and I frown. Wait... I find myself thinking, did I park out in the guest spaces?

Nope. My car's just gone.

And I grin.

Seriously. At this point, I'm more amused than annoyed. My poor car's been abducted twice now, this time much later in its lifespan. I might actually be able to find it by looking for the plume of black smoke trailing from the tailpipe. So if you see a 4-door Saturn making choking noises in some parking lot as some hoodlum tries to get it started, it's probably mine.

I'll let y'all know when my transportation situation improves, but until then, it'll be slightly harder for me to give people rides. And when there are games or events that aren't at Lenny's, I will need assistance getting there.

Speaking of which, who's planning on going to the SPW show Sunday? I may or may not be available, ride status aside.

Laugh and enjoy my friends.
Submitted for your consideration: a new, reflective posting for 12/6 on ...delerium. As it turns out, blogs fuel other blogs. For the best, I hope in this particular case. Read, and you'll see what I mean.

I've created a monster (and by monster I mean a reason for an unprecedented wave of blog spam that will wipe out other posts like straw huts in a hurricane)

Awesome!!!!
Fine Lenny, I'll make a post about shoes. I like wearing shoes. They keep my feet warm. Most people can be found wearing shoes on their feet, unless they don't have the license points in which case they will have to improvise. A lot of people wear Converse, especially among our group of friends. Me? I wear Vans usually. They are comfy and look good with my monstrously sized feet. I had a cat once that loved smelling my shoes when I got home from school. He would stick his whole head in my shoe then start purring while covering my shoe in drool. On that note I conclude my post about shoes.
I have an electric blue nintendo DS that needs a home.

I have the charger, stylus, and the wriststrap is attached to the unit.

Everything is in good working order, although there is a nick on the touchscreen but no dead pixels or gameplay degradation.

Currently asking $60 for it. This'd make a great gift!

(There, another non rpg scheduling post, lenny!)
You know what I hate?

Killin' strippers. Strippers are people too.

Naked people who will pleasure you for a price you negotiate later behind the curtain of the VIP room.

Besides, most of them are already dead inside...

Goodnight everbody!
Fun Fact: Despite the number of contributors on this blog only 5 people regularly post to it outside of comments and it's usually about RP news and there are some exceptions and I feel like complaining about this and here is a webcomic Link and I'm done now.

Short notice, i know; but Zombies Tomorrow, anyone? Eh? Anyone's welcome, and those of you who are dead are welcome to come up with someone new. As you may or may not know, the focus is not not only Zombies, but also Apocalypse. Any takers?
