SPW's Student Cup show

Well with regards to the post below this I myself will be making my way to one of those but this weekend it will not be because SPW's next show is this Sunday and it's not just any show but my first chance at an Academy cup so come to the show and boo me aloud (while you cheer in you hearts) for me and all your guys favorites here.

Sojourn!

Maybe you have an image in your head of what church is like. Tradition. Dogma. Boredom. Sometimes dorkiness. Sometimes judgment.

Perish the thought.

The idea behind Sojourn is to reconnect the ideas of Christianity and spirituality. To explain and illuminate the reasons behind the religion. To worship honestly and wholeheartedly. And above all, to give people a chance to actually connect with God.

The setting is a little more comfortable, a little more casual. Yet, when we have the decorations in place, it feels more like a temple than the average church.

In short, I'd really like all you guys to come check it out. Please let me know if you're interested.

Sojourn launches at 6:00pm on June 3 at Arcade Wesleyan Church, at the corner of Watt and Whitney.

Dragon Blooded Game Continued

So with everything calming down as finals soon come to an end and what not I would like to restart my Dragon-Blooded game, but before I restart it I would like to be sure that all of my players are still interested and anyone not interested I can take out without causing story issues. I think everyone is still on board except Liam whose character has gone to retire on the Blessed Isle to pursue his dream of writing a very nasty letter to V'neef about her rotten family and how they left him in a hole in the desert. I only have 1 final and that's on the 24th, other than that I'm pretty good for weekends and evenings (but Monday are always Capoeira, so those are out). Let me know of any schedules people know about right now and if there are any permanent obligations to consider. That's all I think.

Living Situation

I need a roommate as soon as possible. I've got a lot of costs to cut with my impending change in employment.

Incidentally, several two-bedroom apartments are opening up in my complex, each for $850 a month.

Hey y'all I just wanted to start hyping my next show which is June 3rd, but wait this just isn't any ol' SPW show but it is the return of the student academy cup...featuring all of the SPW students, other matches already signed for this show are the 2 out of 3 falls match between Rik Luxury and Adam Thornstowe, a tag team turmoil match, and much more. Please try and be there in support of me as I try to win my first ever SPW academy cup plus all the others you come to cheer and boo.

Hippies

So this weekend is hippie fest 2007, AKA The Whole Earth Festival 2007 at the UC Davis campus in (where else?) Davis. It's a three day festival starting Friday at noon going until Sunday evening with breaks between really late and really early o clock. Here's the website:

Adrienne, Lenny and I will all be there for at least part of Saturday because Aqua de Beber is performing on Saturday and doing a roda, as well as a roda Friday night (which we'll probably go to as well). Saturday we perform at 2:30 and are having the roda at 5:00, friday night the roda is suppose to be at 6ish. So yeah, come on out guys, it's fun and hippitastic. There's lots of other stuff going on (like fire dancing, and music (Sambada will be there as well) and how hemp can save the world). Adrienne and I will probably be there all day Saturday so yeah, it promises to be an eventful event, and much larger and more organized than Earth day at CSUS.

It seems all the student assistants at DOJ are graduating or something because today I got 5 announcements for open student assistant positions. This is mainly for Jess and Lenny who I know would like to get these kinds of jobs but anyone with a 2.0 GPA and at least 6 semester units can get one of these jobs. If you want the info just call or e-mail me. I can't guarantee a job but I can get your applications where they need to be. Also, it's daytime hours. 9-5 kinda stuff, so you have to be willing to get up before noon.
