Punkslam Feature

Excellently filmed spot by the Press Democrat, filled with great moments from the last Punkslam show, including Drake Frost hitting the Icebreaker on Mike Rayne to become the new Number One Contender for the Punkslam Title!

Sojourn: Connections

From the official press release (that is, the 100 postcards we had printed):
~

Dogma, doctrine and theology are great ways of defining God, but they don't always help us to understand Him. Sometimes we need something a little less technical to help us see the God behind the words. Can you picture God or merely define Him?

For the next 5 weeks of Sojourn we're gonna be looking at life with God through the lens of "connection." Join us for a fresh perspective on life, God and how it all comes together.
~

Sundays, from 6-7 in the evening. I'm usually in with the kids, roughousing and stuff, but that's not always the case. Let me know if there's a night you guys are interested in coming, and I can find a replacement for the evening. Or, you could just come check it out and catch me up on the lesson afterwards. Either way, I'd love to see you down there. In the meantime, check out some of the messages on the MySpace site. They're awesome.

Attention all unemployed friends!

CalPERS is hiring entry level positions! Go here for more details on the open exam. This is the position I'm in. Pay starts at $2,205 (plus 3.4% raise that all state employees get next month), full benefits, vacation, sick leave, plus pay for all the goofy state holidays like Ceasar Chavez day. It's real easy work and you should all take the test so you'll be eligible.

ANNUAL MULLET-HUNT SIGNUPS!!

The state fair is here. Don't think i didn't notice.
Now, i'm tired of pussyfooting around scheduling, so you all have one of the following options, in order of desirability:

1) Post your schedule here and we'll all figure out a lovely evening that works for everyone.

2) Figure whatever happens, happens, and risk getting stuck at work or tacos or whatever the evening that Lenny, Cody and i decide we're going, and wrangle anyone who's ready at the moment.

if those options sound eerily familiar, you should think about option one.

UPDATE: TENTATIVE DATE CHOSEN, SEE COMMENTS FOR DETAILS.

1.) Physical Product - Books, Mini's, etc.
2.) Organized Play (i.e. Living Campaigns, Convention Play, etc.)
3.) The Game Community (both on and off line, with ways of keeping in touch via teh internets)
4.) "Digital Offerings" - This will include the "extras" suite unlockable for each book online, include commentaries, expanded content, an electronic version of the book, and more. Also included will be thrice weekly added content to the new online versions of Dungeon and Dragon Magazines, which are being discontinued in physical format in September 2007. This will of course be available for a "nominal fee".

No Fetus Can Beat Us!!

Hey Adrienne, i believe it's your turn to step up to the plate as Mayor for the next session of KAMB!, what does everyone's schedules look like so we can figure out an awesome time to do this? i believe Lenny comes back in town either tomorrow or the day after, but seriously, i think he'd be thrilled to find out that we actually managed to do something together that didn't involve him.
