So it looks like people are pretty busy as of late. That kind of sucks for D&D and I'm going to throw in one more weekend that I will be unavailable (as well as Adrienne). On March 3rd Adrienne and I are going on a weekend snowboarding trip with some people from Capoeira, and we'll be coming back on the 4th (Saturday and Adrienne's birthday), so there will be no D&D that weekend. Then see the post below this for John's unavailability.

Edit: So actually, we'll be coming back the 5th. The day after Adrienne's birthday because she managed to get another day off.
I'll be helping my parents move Saturday 3.11.06 so I don't know how available to play DnD. Since I have obligations on Sunday 3.12.06 I'll probably working saturday 3.18.06 which means no DnD then either.

So who's going to the Colonial this Saturday? I'm totally down for wrestling, and would like to see Chase's Capoeira Party too (I dont think it would be too hard to hit both, although we might be a little late to the Capoeira Party)... I've got a Star Wars meeting in the early afternoon but other then that I'm down for both events.

Hey this Saturday is SPW's next show @ the Colonial theather, doors are at 6:30pm and bell is @ 7pm, addmission is $10 or $5 for kids 12 and under. Come and see all your favorites and boo all the others, this show promises to be a another SPW outing that you won't wanna miss.

I now have several of the tickets for the Capoeira party that's happening this Saturday, Feb 25. Doors open at 9:00pm, show starts at 10:00pm. They're $10 each, or $15 at the door. Anyone who would like to purchase a ticket let me know, I have 4 at the moment, but if there is a greater demand, I can get more very easily. Let me know before Thursday, or you'll be out of luck. If you want any information about the party I left a flyer at Lenny's house, or you can just ask me about it. So yeah, CARNIVAL!

So, can i propose a minor sidebar revamp?
i'm sure Lenny's showed you all Channel Frederator, yeah?
Can a podcast getta plug in the sidebar?
If space is an issue (or even if it's not...) maybe it could replace RPG World, cause... yeah. Seriously, he's dead, Jim.

Hey Chase,

Been trying to get ahold of you and/or Adrienne for the last several days. Been leaving phone messages and such, but you guys have been busy with work/school and when you might've tried to call me I've probably been online... But I wanted to post something rather then wait forever.

Lenny's starting another production with Sac City soon, and we've not played in awhile because we've all been really busy. I've just been offered a chance to play a sunday game with people at school, and the Star Wars group I'm with could really use the help filming this fan film of ours, and they tend to use Sundays when most people are available... I considered taking the Sunday game offer, but it'd mean losing Saturdays.

I wanted to talk with you first, and see what the status of the DnD game is going to be in light of recent events... I know Lenny said he's free weekdays mostly, if we were to switch games to then. I'm aware you work until mid afternoon and Adrienne works late generally, but I thought I'd bring up the possibility of moving our game to a different day?

I'm completely free after about 3pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays (no more improv club, theyve moved it to Wednesdays I think)... might we be able to work out one of those? I know Drake's really working hard and involved in wrestling but perhaps this may help him too since he's generally off by the afternoon when he works... and that'd let him devote weekends to wrestling/sleeping. I really want to see the DnD game continue and don't plan on changing my availability with work because I really want to see your game suceed. It's been such a long time since we've got one going on a regular basis... I'd hate to see it die again.

Anyways, yeah, that's pretty much it. Just thought I'd throw out some ideas.
Bad news fellers and lady fellers. Drake is going to be busy wrestling this Saturday, so it looks like we won't be able to play my D&D. Oh well. And here's another reminder about the 25th. Big party! Capoeira! Batucada! Salsa! Pagode! Samba! and more! Tickets are $10 if you buy them ahead of time from me, or $15 at the door. Drake and Cody have already asked for tickets, anyone else? Money up front, and I can go down and pick them up for you. So yeah.

Attention Lenny:

i need to know when/where your mom is going to be here, so i can meet up with her. Getting in touch with me is pretty difficult, so a rendezvous in person is maybe the easiest.

A pirate's boon to the first person to find free WiFi near my address! i'm sick of using this sheisty man's setup, and most of all i want to call you guys and send pictures!
Anyways, i'm sure either Cody or Brian know some secret underground community that catalogues free WiFi hotspots around the globe, lemme know!

More about the 25th! Yeah! I have a few of the flyers now, so if someone needs one they can get it from me. I'll leave one at Lenny's house for viewing, since everyone goes there anyway. But there is a slight change it how I thought it was going to be. There will be presale tickets for $10 each, you can let me know and I'll go get tickets for whoever pays for them, or you can go to Aqua de Beber and pick them up yourself. Either way, presale is $10 and at the door it's $15. Doors open at 9:00 pm and the shows start at 10:00. Then it will probably go until 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning. These people just don't know when to stop partying. Anyway, that's the update.

Anyone wanting to verify/debunk their favorite myth(s) about these silly Frogs, please turn your attention to my blog. You can get there from the bar to the right, as I recall.

Do the French really bathe once a year?
Do the French really call it a "Royale Wit' Cheese?"
Do the French really sleep upside down and drink blood?

Find the answers to at least one of these, and more!!!

As John mentioned in his post he will not be around next weekend, so we will not be able to play my D&D (again). If Nick wants to run his game, that's great, but I think this would be a fine opportunity for Lenny to start his urban game as well. Either way, someone should decide.

The following Saturday (Feb 18th) I fully intend to run my game, assuming everyone will be present. Let me know if for some reason you are not going to be able to make it. That will end up being at my house, like last time, so we don't have to keep imposing upon Lenny. That said, lets try not to be late *coughdrakecough*. It will probably be around 6:30ish, but I'll more fully establish that as that weekend draws closer.

Then another thing. The 25th of Feb I will be unavailable for gaming. The 25th is Carnival! There will be a big party at Aqua de Beber (Capoeira Arts Academy) on that day, and I'll be there helping out most likely. If I'm not there helping out, I still won't have time to play because I'm going to be going to the party. It's a big party, with lots of shows going on including Belly Dance, Capoeira, Samba, Batucada, and Fire Dancing. It's $10 at the door (I think), and I'm not sure what time it starts, but I suggest other people go too. It should be a lot of fun. I'll have flyers for it shortly so everyone will have all the information they may need for it. So yeah. I think that's it.

Since Chase has posted we will not be playing DnD this week because of Drake's Wrasslin Match, I thought I'd post a couple things...

1.) Can someone give me a ride to Drake's match (since I believe some of us are going) so I can cheer our boy on too?
2.) I'm going to be out of town the following weekend, from 2/9.2006-2/12/2006, to attend Wonder*Con in San Francisco. I'm assuming Nick would probably be running his game that week but I thought I'd let people know about it in case they forgot.

And Liam, if I don't see or speak to you sooner... take care and good luck!
