I just want to let everyone who's playing in one of my games know that I haven't forgotten about them. I just have a lot to do right now with finals and such. After finals I'll try to get in a session of each of my games before Christmas, maybe more. And yes, there will be a very long post about the Vampire game which is currently in Torpor.

So I've cancelled my AOL account. While it was always ridiculed for being a pathetic internet company, I never had a problem with it for a year and a half... until early this week when I started getting a "Unable to establish carrier signal" message when I tried to sign on. There customer service has been outsource to some third world country (India I think, if the multitude of people I talked to were any indication) so.... no more intraweb, as Neko would say.

As a result, I've hooked up with Earthlink for the time being (and lost all my links for my Anthro paper which is due on Thursday.... thank god I decided to finish it ahead of schedule!). The best place to get ahold of me would either be via email or here.... once I get AIM set up I'll give you guys my new AOL IM SN.

Oh well.

Since the debut in theatres of "The Incredibles" there has been much talk of superpowers, and what superpowers a given individual might want. i've heard Lucky's ever-present doppelganger power, the more traditional flying (with many stipulations) from Andy, Carolyn i'm sure wouldn't mind psychic powers (who would?), and of course, there's Liesel's "Miss Direction," the misdirecting sidekick, but i have a power that, by definition, tops all of these.

My superpower of choice is to be supernaturally enhanced such that i am just marginally capable of handling any situation i find myself in. A bully running rampant at school? That's okay, because i'm just barely faster, stronger and smarter than he is! A rolled over car threatens to crush my beautiful Sierra? Not to fear, beloved, i'm just strong enough to lift it! Water-rights litigations brought against me in state court? i'm barely versed enough in environmental law to defend myself.

Yep, take that, Marvel.
My favorite part of this power is that most DC superheroes have it by default.
The problem is, i'm not sure what my Superhero identity would be, nor do i even know where to start with my costume. Any suggestions?

Well, in that case I think I may be able to put something together for Tuesday. Everyone be prepared to play on Tuesday around 2. I'll leave a message if that changes. And let me know if for some reason you can't make it at that time. And then I noticed something on Carolyn's post. WHich Tuesday are you off and which do you work until four?

i need to know when Snorlax, Carolynx and Brian are available to continue the cyberpunk game. Lenny, if your schedule is going to be any different from "Available at all reasonable hours" i'd like to know that too, for the same reason.

Once i get a handle on the game, i'll think about adding people.
