To all those concerned:

Lenny and i are looking for someone with a decent-power digital camera, for taking close-up pictures. Mine is a rather modest 5 megapixel, and doesn't cut it. To be perfectly honest, we're not actually looking for you so much as your camera. We wanna use it. Inquire within.

P.S. i'm on the new blogger now, too. We should switch this thing over, already.

I agree with Cody. I'm pretty sure you won't need more megapixels than that, and you could probably do well with less. All you need, as you've observed, is a camera with a decent macro setting. Mine isn't bad, though it's much lower res. I'd be glad to let you guys try it.

Ooh. What about a test run at the New Year's party?

Sorry all, the way i wrote that was confusing. When i said mine was a rather modest 5-megapixel, i wasn't referring to the resolution as modest, but to the camera. The operative phrase in my first post should have been "For taking close-up pictures," as the lens on my "Fairly modest [camera]" can't handle anything closer than about four feet with any clarity.
