Heroes for Heroes

The Star Wars people and I are talking about making a donation of goods to heroes for heroes:

Mission
We work directly with members of the United States Military, corporations, and the general public to provide portable media to active troops in order to boost morale and keep our men and women in uniform culturally tuned-in. We gather, organize, and send entertainment material such as comic books, DVDs, CDs, books, magazines, MP3 players, and game systems to our Heroes.

On a side note, I was wondering who wants to do Spiderman on the 4th? Let me know! I'd be cool with going to the midnight thursday showing, but it's probably sold out by now... I'd be cool with Friday though too!!!

SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!

For those of you who are unaware, this Sunday is Earth day, the day we celebrate the Earth and all its naturey power. There will be a celebration held at Sac State from 11am until 5pm in celebration of this event and the super important thing is that Aqua de Beber will be a part of this celebration as will Adrienne, Lenny and I by extension. It's a free event and lots of cool fun, so I suggest that everyone be there. Also, parking is free on campus for the whole day and if you ride a bike they will have valet bike parking. Isn't that just the hippiest? So yeah, that's all I thinks.
Update:
So for Earth day the main Capoeira, Batucata, etc. show will be at noon-o-clock on the main stage with a (mostly) open roda on the smaller stage at 1:00.

Vacation! (sorta)

So, as I told my players, I will be taking a vacation from the Dragon-Blooded game. I probably won't run it again until next month because I could really use some time to get school stuff done and so Adrienne and I can finish setting up our apartment. But while I'm on that break I would like to invite everyone to e-mail me any suggestions for the continuation of the game, character goals, comments, or questions about what has gone on in the game so far. You should all have my e-mail and since I don't know if people can view this blog I'm not going to post it out in the open. If you need it give me a call or catch me on AIM or some such thing. I just wanted to let that be known.

Calling All Heores!

The time is near. Issue 9 has gone live on the test server and we must prepare for it's arrival on the live servers. We must gather our forces and become strong enough to do the Statesman Task Force. Also, there's lots of other cool stuff with I9, but we have to get some more high level heroes since Lenny and I can't do all the content ourselves.

Coordination!

I think we ought to set up a Google calendar for RP coordination purposes. Gonna investigate how it works, but I think they could be quite useful.

A second Session?!?! Astounding!

Yes, I would like to run a second session of DB in less than a week. Since Lenny's game has moved to Tuesday I would like to run on Wednesday evening. I've spoken with most players (Liam, Adrienne, Lenny, and Neko) and they all are cool. John, you're schedule shows you as free, so let me know, and Neko will speak with Jess and let me know of any problems, but since people seemed able to play for Lenny, you should be able to play for me. We will start around 6:00 PM and because it's a weekday I'm going to cut the game off between 10 and 11 depending on how people are feeling. Let me know of any conflicts that come up so I can let everyone know if it has to be called off.
