Mr. Broken Toe
I guess the title kinda says it all. Yes, I, your esteemed and beloved friend and role model, have broken my toe. It hurts some. I have a new shoe to go with my toe, and it's not very stylish or warm. So yeah, I just figured I would update people on this so they aren't surprised if they see me walking around with a funny shoe on and so that they do not step on my foot.

The Great eMusic Raid
Cody and I have been talking about signing up for an eMusic account and divvying up the bounty. Lenny also expressed interest, so I thought I might mention it to the Knoll proper.
eMusic, for the uninitiated, is a legitimate, subscription-based music download service, which has mainly independent artists. They offer great free trial offers through which I initially found them.
Again, there aren't really any major labels on there, but you can find some good stuff nonetheless: the Sword (remember Freya from Guitar Hero II?), various renditions of the Star Wars soundtrack, Matisyahu, Lewis Armstrong, Sevendust, etc.
No, they're not paying me to do this post. (yet.) I just like 'em. If you haven't used the free trial yet, do check it out. Just make sure to quit before you're out of free downloads, unless you wanna pay for a month.
My current plan is to split a $20 dollar account with Cody, if not Cody and Lenny. $20 gets you 75 songs, which works out to about 27 cents a track. Not bad, if you can find enough goodness.

Attention friends!
If you can read this you are invited to a gathering of sushi! On Sunday, March 4th, I will be yet another year older and would love to have all of you join me in celebration.Slight change of plans, Mana doesn't open until 5pm. So the new location will be Taro's at 4pm unless someone knows of a sushi restaurant that opens earlier on a Sunday.

I really. Really. REALLY want to go to SF for Wonder*Con this year.
Problem is, I need a roommate or lodging will cost me about $500 smackaroos. Anyone down for kicking it in Frisco from March 1st-March 4th? Going to the Con itself is obviously optional, the cost for the hotel is just a little steep. Let me know!

Actors/Cameraman/Photoshopper(s) to perform/edit an Orwellian "2 Minute Hate."
Lenny, i would love to have you in it for reasons we can discuss ourselves.
Cody, i would love not only to have you in it as an actor, but to insert brief (ten or so) frames of either some of your work that you found particularly disturbing or that of another artist.
Drake, i would love to have you do some things that none of us can do, physically, like break stuff with your bare hands, or bend someone into awful positions, or just be big and menacing with a hammer.
Brian, i would love to have your eye for film, especially parts that i could filter to b/w.
Carolyn (if you read this), i would love to have some comic-panel images that say evocative things like "Bang!" "Krash!" and whatnot, that i can subliminally plant to raise tension.
Everyone i didn't mention, i'd like you to help too, in ways i haven't forseen yet.

On teh lamb
After making explosives from tequila and Mole', Jess and I have returned to the states! Alas, I fear we may have missed Exalted by one day... seeing as at 2:30 Mazatlan time we were arguing with Oscar about how we'd get to Sacramento when our flight had been cancled. So after 10 hours of traveling/airport shinanigins/Customs caca... Did we really miss game by only a few hours? I cry.
