A metal dream come true:

Killswitch Engage covers Dio's "Holy Diver."

Second link from the bottom. In other words, not quite the last in line.

The opening sounds cool, but the vocals and the instrumentals don't mesh well IMO.

Well, in my opinion, the lyrics are a bit too faint to be heard clearly, but everyone knows that guitar is far more metal than voice anyways, unless it's both, with a voxbox.

Also: The line "Between the velvet lies/there's a truth as hard as steel" is a line that didn't know it required the Metal Scream to be properly pronounced.

I've listened to the song several more times, and I can't escape the following:

1.) vocals seemed faster then the instrumentals
2.) the guitar does give it self enough variance (i dont know how else to describe it, please forgive me)-the main tune of the song just turns into noise. In an effort to be "metal" they drown out the actual song
3.) The metal scream is completely unnecessary. I understand taking liberties, but I think it hurt the cover in this case
